So we painted sissy's nails a few days ago! She absoulutely loved it! All she did was talk about her nails all night long. I figured that since she is always so mesmerized about my nails it was time to start painting hers. She hated having the toilet paper in between her toes though.

Summer - Pool Fun!!!
My kids (especially Emma) love the swimming pool!!! Emma really has no fear so once she learns to swim she is going to be everywhere. AJ still thinks that he is safest sitting on top of a raft. LOL He loves just to be in the baby pool or their kiddie pool! We have had them both in lessons and we will continue this until they can both swim! I guess mom is secretly hoping for a swimmer like her.....
Step Up for Down Syndrome 2011
So Alexander's walk was in June! Like always it was a HOT day but very tolerable. Like always we had a blast! I really think Alexander knows that its his day and that we are celebrating him having Down Syndrome. I get SOOOO excited for this day! It is so special for our whole family!!! I tell Alexander that it is his special day and he gets spoiled all day! Thanks for all who support us!
Emma's First pigtails
So I was off work for something or another back in April and we attempted Emma's first pigtails!!! We did it and she absolutely loved it!!!
Easter 2011
A few photos from Easter - this was a first at Matt & Kristi's new house in St. Louis! It was also Dad's Birthday so we celebrated for him too!!!!

Emma Catch Up
Our little drama queen has been pretty healthy too! We have only had 1 ear infection since Jan. I am a little worried because we haven't gotten any teeth in a LONG time. For Emma, everytime we get a tooth a bad ear infection follows. Other than Emma's ears she is pretty much healthy.
Emma is our talker - really can't believe how early she started talking. As of late she has now started to climb on everything!!! She also eats everything in site! So glad we have 2 good eaters!!!

Alexander Catch-UP
In the past six months or so AJ has done wonders! He started school when he turned 3 and everything has changed. He now never shuts up and always points and tells me what things are. Between him going to school 5 days a week and getting extra Speech Therap at SIUE and doing the Learning Program in St. Louis not sure what has helped him the most. Grandma helps with some of these things and we thank her SOOOO much! I wish every day I could take him myself. Maybe some day! LOL
As for his health I can't believe how healthy he has been! Knock on wood but he hasn't been to the doctor all summer! No ear infections and his color has been awesome. We don't go back to the ENT, Cardiologist, Eye Dr., Orthopedic, & Nuerologist until Jan! Now if he stays healthy until then. LOL!!!

Once again catch up!!
Like always we have been busy all summer! Can't believe I haven't posted anything in months! Emma is now 20 months and AJ is 3 and a half! Wow wear has all the time went! Here are a few photos the kiddos took back in June.....
They had so much fun at this photo session and I finally got some photos of Emma smiling!!!

Blizzard 2011
In the Igloo with my big cousins Ty and KK
Bubby and Sissy
Oh my did we have alot of snow this year! And of course we had surgery (ear tubes, adnoids and tear duct probbing) on the 1st big snow on January 20th! We had 14 inches of snow but we made it to the hospital. Alexander recovered quickly and we were sledding with in a few days of his surgery! This was his first time sledding so he was a little worried but he ended up loving the snow. Emma also went sledding and she loved it as well!
On the way to go sledding....

Christams
One photo in front of our tree - more to come later!!!
We all had a excellent Christmas. Of course my kids didn't understand too much yet. They were getting the hang of opening presents though. I think Emma especially like chewing on the paper the best and playing with AJ's toys. She got a awesome rocking chair and they both got Cozy Coupes for when the weather gets nicer. I will post more photos of Xmas once they get downloaded to my computer.
Alexander starts school!!

My school bus - I look to little for a school bus!
My school bus - I look to little for a school bus!
AJ started school on Monday, November 29th. He had to ride the bus to and from school! The sitter says he loves riding the bus. She says that he falls asleep everyday on the way home. :) They must wear him out at school!
He has physical therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy. This takes some added stress off mommy not having them at home but it is hard not knowing what they are working on with him!
Emma is walking!
December 3rd, Emma finally built up enough confidence to take more than one or two steps. With in weeks she was walking down the hallway. We were so proud of her. She is now walking all over the house and is doing great! :)
Grandma turns 91
Love this photo of grandma and Alexander - they both have such big smiles on their faces. She loves babies!!!
Wow - can you believe it Grandma Bebe is 91! She has had such a great life and has always loved all her grandchildren. :) For the past few years we have celebrated her birthday with all her children and grandchildren. She loves when we all get together. :)

Our great Santa photo...LOL
One Sunday morning we decided to go to the Bass Pro shop. We both had heard how Santa would be their, not realizing you would have to wait in line forever. Luckily we got there at 11:30 and Santa didn't show till 12. By the time we saw him it was around 12:30 and my kiddos had enough. Here you go - Aren't they great! :) LOL
